Born in Berlin, Plume was founded on a simple idea: the rainwear that protects you should also protect the planet.
Fast fashion often treats outerwear as disposable. We see it differently. We create high-performance ponchos that feel incredibly light, yet are fully waterproof. Each poncho is made from over 20 post-consumer PET bottles, keeping plastic out of our landfills and waterways.
Our name, Plume, is French for “feather.” It nods to the light, airy feel of our ponchos and our belief in the freedom to roam, whatever the weather.
Materials That Matter
Certified-Recycled Polyester (rPET): We use rPET spun from discarded bottles. This keeps plastic in circulation and uses far less energy than virgin fibers.
Independent Seals You Can Trust: Our claims are backed by Global Recycled Standard, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and ISO 9001. These verify our recycled content, clean chemistry, and quality.
